Carillon Aparthotel Welcomes Its First Guests

December 9, 2025

After a two-year reconstruction, work on the refurbishment of the new Carillon Aparthotel has been completed, and yesterday it opened its doors to its first guests. The hotel is located at 13 Pils Street, in the very heart of Old Riga — just a few steps from Riga Castle, museums, and the city’s most popular leisure spots, making it an excellent choice both for short breaks in the historic centre and for long-term stays.

Carillon Aparthotel offers 61 apartments — from compact studio-type rooms to spacious family apartments and elegant suites. All apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen area and a functional workspace, while the layout is designed to make guests feel at home.

During the reconstruction, an energy-efficient heating system was installed, the internal engineering networks were modernised, and a silent ventilation and air-conditioning system was fitted. The interior is designed in an Art Deco and Art Nouveau aesthetic, using natural materials and a refined colour palette to create an elegant and cosy atmosphere.

A New Addition to the Keystone Collection Portfolio

With the opening of the new hotel, the vision of establishing the Keystone Collection hotel chain — conceived in 2023 — is being steadily realised. The chain currently includes two hotels: Konventa Sēta Hotel and Carillon Aparthotel. Both are within a short walking distance of each other and complement one another seamlessly. The key difference is that Carillon Aparthotel is particularly well-suited to travellers planning longer stays in Riga — for weeks or even months.

The interiors and furnishings of both hotels were created by Latvian architects and designers, while the building reconstructions were carried out by the Pillar Contractor team, which paid special attention to preserving the historical heritage. The Keystone Collection brand, as well as the branding and websites of both hotels, were developed by the advertising agency Driven.
