On 8 October, a ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the future Vītolu Parks residential neighborhood took place in Sarkandaugava, marking the next stage in the project’s development. The construction is being carried out by SIA Pillar Contractor, while the project itself represents one of the most significant investments in Latvia by the Estonian real estate developer Invego.

Vītolu Parks is designed as a modern A-class energy efficiency residential area comprising 363 apartments in a well-developed environment. The project will consist of eight seven-storey buildings, surrounded by a spacious park with courtyards, playgrounds, pedestrian and cycling paths, as well as sports and recreation areas. The project places particular emphasis on the quality of life of its residents — the apartments will feature large floor-to-ceiling windows, private gardens, and carefully designed communal green areas that create a harmonious and comfortable living environment. The first homes are scheduled for completion in 2026.

The construction agreement for the project between Invego and Pillar Contractor was signed on 19 May this year. The foundation stone ceremony was attended by representatives of the developer, Pillar Contractor, the architectural concept authors RUUME arhitekti, as well as builders, engineers, and other project partners.
