Konventa Sēta Hotel and Two More Beers Receive “Honest Taxpayer” Certificates as Part of an Industry Initiative

April 10, 2026

On 2 April, an awards ceremony was held as part of an initiative by the Latvian Hotel and Restaurant Association and the Latvian Traders Association, aimed at highlighting the importance of responsible business practices and the sector’s contribution to reducing the shadow economy. The event was opened by Minister for Welfare Reinis Uzulnieks.

As part of the initiative, companies in the sector were recognised for:
• paying social taxes above the industry average,
• meeting the State Revenue Service (VID) A rating,
• operating in a transparent and responsible manner.

In recognition, companies meeting these criteria received a certificate confirming their responsible approach to business, which will now be clearly visible to their customers. The certificate also serves as a mark of quality and reliability, highlighting the companies as socially responsible employers and trustworthy partners.

In total, 17 hotels and restaurants were recognised. Among the certificate recipients were also companies from the AmberStone Group: Keystone Management (Konventa Sēta Hotel) and the restaurant Two More Beers.

Hospitality is one of the key business areas of AmberStone Group, within which the company is purposefully developing high-quality hotel and catering services based on the principles of sustainable and transparent business practices. Companies within the group not only ensure a competitive market offering in this segment but also actively contribute to raising professional standards in the industry and strengthening fair business practices in Latvia.
