In mid-February, the diagnostic radiology service provider e-radiologs will commence operations at the New Hanza Med medical centre, located at 1 Mihaila Tāla Street in Riga and developed by a subsidiary of AmberStone Group, with the opening of a new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) unit equipped to meet all modern standards.
The new MRI unit will offer patients a wide range of magnetic resonance examinations, including imaging of the brain, spine and musculoskeletal system, joints and soft tissues, breast imaging, as well as the diagnosis of disc herniations and ligament and muscle injuries. Examination reports will be prepared by experienced radiology specialists, ensuring accurate, comprehensive diagnostics in line with current clinical standards.
Examinations will be performed using a latest-generation Philips MR 5300 magnetic resonance scanner with BlueSeal technology and a magnetic field strength of 1.5 Tesla, providing high-quality imaging and significantly enhanced diagnostic accuracy.
The construction and fit-out of the MRI unit were carried out in cooperation with New Hanza Med. Design and construction works were undertaken by Pillar Contractor, while the supply of high-end Philips diagnostic equipment was ensured by Arbor Medical Corporation, a long-standing partner of e-radiologs.
e-radiologs is a family-owned company founded in 2008, providing magnetic resonance imaging services in Sigulda and ultrasound examinations in Valmiera. The opening of the new MRI unit at New Hanza Med will significantly expand access to high-quality radiological diagnostics in Riga and across Latvia.
