In October, reconstruction works began on the Lubāna Town Primary School building, carried out by our group company Pillar Contractor. The works are being implemented within the Madona Municipality project “Improvement and Equipment of Educational Institution Infrastructure”. The aim of the project is to enhance the learning environment in the general education institution, ensuring efficient use of resources and strengthening the primary school, thus promoting access to quality education outside the administrative centre of the municipality.

The renovation of the primary school premises will include engineering systems – water supply, sewerage, heating, ventilation, electrical installation and low-voltage networks, as well as other related systems.

The total cost of the construction works is EUR 2,582,830, including EUR 1,274,368 from the European Union Recovery Fund and EUR 1,308,462 co-financing from Madona Municipality. The construction works are being carried out by SIA Pillar Contractor, with design supervision provided by SIA BM-projekts and construction supervision by SIA Būvrem.

In 2024, Pillar Contractor reached a turnover of EUR 43.097 million and a profit of EUR 1.203 million. The company was established in 2015 and is owned by AS AmberStone Group.
